In an effort to bring ABA Therapy to all who need it, Lauren Dannenberg launched Playmates Behavioral Services, LLC, offering ABA therapy to Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties in New York. Lauren draws on her extensive education and experience working with children with autism.

Lauren first discovered her interest in Applied Behavior Analysis while studying for her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Western New England College and interning at the New England Center for Children (NECC). After graduation, she continued her work at NECC, focusing on preschool-aged children with autism. She began her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Northeastern University in 2007, completing research in the areas of joint attention and video modeling. She received her BCBA shortly after completing her degree.
Prior to launching Playmates, Lauren worked at Connec-to-Talk, an autism therapy clinic with multiple locations in CT and MD. As Company Trainer and Compliance Officer, Lauren created programming to promote socialization, communication, and reduce challenging behavior. She also helped train parents, behavior therapists, and teachers in how to implement such programming.
